We introduce - Oskar Baumann

Early on, with his not entirely voluntary contact with robots as a child, Oskar Baumann developed a passion for them in his youth. As the youngest son of the company owner, Dr. Georg Baumann, he was already supporting the Test Solution After Sales division, especially the international Aptiv projects, at the Amberg site in March and April.

Oskar Baumann studied mechanical engineering in Munich from 2015 to 2020 and graduated with a Master's degree in robotics and cognitive systems after completing his Bachelor's degree. During the last two years, he worked at the Technical University of Munich at the Chair of Robotics, Cognitive Systems and Artificial Intelligence as a research assistant and could concentrate intensively on mobile robotics.

Now he would like to expand his experience at Baumann Automation. For this purpose, he is taking the opportunity to get to know the Mexican subsidiary Vectralis for six months starting in May. In Guadalajara, he will continue to be involved in the Aptiv projects. The experience he has gained in robotics and artificial intelligence will undoubtedly benefit him in his work at Aptiv.
