Generational change at Baumann Automation

After 40 years at the helm, Dr Georg Baumann hands over the rudder to his son Oskar Baumann. He is strengthening the management team.
On 19 July 2024, Oskar Baumann took over the management of Baumann Automation from his father, the founder of the company. He complements the management team of Karl Ebnet, Stefan Rauch and Alexander Dillinger. Oskar Baumann has been responsible for the company's international market as Managing Director since January 2024.
After his induction in Amberg in 2023, Oskar worked for six months at Vectralis in Guadalajara (Mexico), a subsidiary. There, he supervised the assembly and programming of Baumann's first major systems by Vectralis and was involved in the planning of the new building.
Oskar Baumann studied robotics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and subsequently worked on autonomous robotics at the university. It was during this time that he developed his enthusiasm for software development.
Oskar Baumann wants to preserve the traditions and values, while at the same time providing new impetus and leading the company into a successful future.
