Baumann Automation has published a current status information on the Coronavirus.
The number of cases of
coronavirus (COVID-19) is currently increasing in Germany and in our immediate
neighbouring countries. It is therefore of the utmost importance that we act
collectively and in partnership to face this challenge. We are following the measures
recommended by the RKI (Robert Koch Institute) for minimising contact and
ensuring best hygiene practices so that we can reduce the risk of infection as
much as possible.
Based on these
recommendations, we have implemented various health measures to provide the
best possible protection for our customers, suppliers and employees. These
measures also ensure that our productivity levels and high quality are
maintained when executing our projects.
Mandatory
face masks:
Since Tuesday, 13 October 2020, all employees at our company must wear a face
mask outside their workplace. To ensure that we can provide the greatest
possible level of protection against infection, it is essential that all
visitors to our premises also wear a face mask. - All visitors are required to
wear a face mask.
Travel restrictions:
Due to the current COVID-19 trend, we have decided to restrict all visits from
customers, suppliers and partners to an absolute minimum, only strictly
necessary visits will be permitted.
Customer visits for existing projects may still go ahead. However, visitor
numbers should be reduced to a sensible minimum. Appropriate hygiene standards
and the requirement to wear a face mask will apply to all visits.
Measures for our business
partners:
We have been working digitally with our customers and partners for some time
now. We have taken the opportunity to further develop our web meetings and
digital communications so that we no longer need to rely on visits in person.
Our suppliers' measures:
Like us, our long-standing suppliers have taken various preventive measures. We
are in regular contact regarding the current supply and delivery situation to
secure all part deliveries for our projects.
Measures for our
employees:
We have created home office workspaces for over 300 employees from development
and administration departments to enable the design and OFF-line programming of
the systems from home and to ensure commercial processing. We ensure, of
course, that you can still reach your contact partners on the existing
telephone numbers and by email.
By implementing these health measures, we hope that our company can contribute to reducing the spread of coronavirus. We are determined to overcome these difficult times as best we can and we are committed to taking every possible action to support our customers and partners.
We would like to wish good health to you and your families.
