Baumann Automation develops customised automation solutions - now also with a compact screw assembly cell that has been specially designed for a customer in the energy technology sector. The focus is on maximising process reliability in the smallest possible space, combined with maximum precision and efficiency.

Innovative technology for maximum precision

The centrepiece of the system is the linear direct axis SLD from Schunk, which impresses with its dynamic drive technology and exact positioning accuracy. This allows screw connections to be carried out with high repeat accuracy and minimum effort.

Customised development for optimum production output

Baumann Automation customised the assembly cell specifically to the customer's production requirements. The integration of five screwdriving stations and two handling units enables several processes to be carried out in parallel, significantly reducing throughput times. The targeted use of intelligent sensor technology also ensures continuous quality control during the screwdriving process.

Space-saving & powerful

The entire cell has been designed in such a way that it can be integrated into existing production lines to save space. Thanks to its compact design and modular expandability, the solution remains flexible and adaptable for future production requirements.
